What is unconditional love?

It is love without conditions. As human beings we limit ourselves with boundaries. We are trapped by the politics of gender, by the illusions of romance as presented to us via satellite, cultural norms, religious dogma, classism and selfishness. Thus love or our distorted perception of love is not real at all. I read of things such as planetary shifts, the aquarian age, polarities and 5th dimension and it sparks my curiosity, it even envelops me at times. However, I look at the story of my life which is a work in progress and I ask myself is evolution truly obtainable for everyone? If so why in Gods name would I recreate pain time and time again? How do I love plainly with no limitations in the face of rejection or when the lover who touches the very heart of your soul but for only a fleeting moment and you look up and he’s gone? How do I show compassion to the lover scorned who lives his life with the eternal payback that is never enough for his insatiable Ego.

These are questions I believe that many of us struggle with in the face of an ever changing universe. As we grow into the light I offer you a humble bit of wisdom that resonates with a deeper part of me. In order to receive love we must love more. For this I will always strive.
